Nothing beats the smell of fresh bread, the crunching sound of a knife slicing off that first thick slice, the taste of warm bread slathered with melted butter, the sight of eager faces awaiting that first bite, and the feeling of accomplishment that comes from making it from scratch.
I'm hungry now ... I think I'll go have a slice of fresh multi-grain bread!
