The Pink Bowl

From day one, Dada has been lukewarm about all the pink that has entered our house.  Don't get me wrong, he loves Laurel to death, but is just not a fan of all of the pink stuff that (apparently) goes along with having a girl.  While going through a box of clothes that a friend was lending us, we had to take out anything that was too pink, or too frilly, or too girly.  Now, as most of you know, I am not a huge fan of pink either, but I am slowly coming around.  Dada is still firmly on the "less pink is better" side of the fence ... until yesterday.

Yesterday, after a visit to the store for cheesecloth, he also came home with a pink bowl.  Yes, PINK!  It is one of those bowls with the straw attached.  The boys each have one and, to avoid any arguments, each have their own colour, but there are only three.  So "when the time is right", Dada said, "she will have one too".  Well, what do you know ... I think he just got one step closer to the fence.
