The scene:  Paul is snoozing on the couch, but Owen (4) has something to show him.

Owen:  Dada, look    ...   Dada   ...   Look Dada   ...

Me:  Is Dada having a rest?

Owen:  Yes.

Me:  So, can he see what you are showing him?

Owen:  No.

Me: (to myself)  There, I've made my point.

Owen:  So ... talk louder?
